Latest News.
A survey was recently mailed out to all homeowners to gather support for the establishment of a neighborhood watch patrol as well as proposed by law changes. If you have not received a copy of the survey, please download one from the "Resources" section and complete it so that your voice can be heard.

Annual Meeting Held 11/10/09.
The Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors was held in accordance with the previously mailed notice on November 10, 2009 however we failed to meet quorum because only 18 homeowners attended, fewer than the 66 required to meet quorum. Please refer to the resources section to view a copy of the minutes of the meeting.

The existing Board will remain in place for the upcoming year and the board extended an invitation to any interested homeowners to participate by volunteering on a committee.

Annual dues are $682.00 per year. A payment is due on January 1,2010 for $341 and July 1 for $341. The board made diligent efforts to get new bids for our landscape contract that resulted in significant savings. Additionally, the board held down the rate of increase charged by our management company while maintaining current staffing levels for the deputy who patrols the community.

Our largest budget item remains the cable contract signed by the developer for 10 years that runs until December 29th 2010. As our cable dues increase according to the contract terms, we are forced to make cuts in our budget. The board will soon begin to contact homeowners to determine their level of support for renewing the contract when it expires.

Community Watch
If you notice any suspicious activity in the community including any solicitors please call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Traffic in the community.
The FieldStream West Board of Directors has arranged for a Deputy Sheriff to periodically patrol the neighborhood to ticket speeding motorists.  The Deputy will also enforce community rules including illegal parking or blocking of right of way.
